Cooperation among Cooperatives is one of the Credit Union Operating Principles.
For over 20 years the Foundation has hosted delegations from credit union movements in Africa and Eastern Europe, who visit Ireland to learn more about the Irish Credit Union movement. The five day programme includes presentations on pre-chosen topics by experts in the sector, and visits to credit unions to learn directly from their peers and share their own credit union experience.
The Foundation promotes peer learning and has over the years hosted Partner Conferences to strengthen the links between credit union movements and allow participants to share their experience and learn from each other.
