Do you want to join the International Development Foundation as we take on the Great Ethiopian Run 2026?
The Great Ethiopian Run traditionally attracts runners and walkers from across Africa and around the globe. Competitors of all ages and fitness levels participate in the event as it winds its way through the city of Addis Ababa.
We are bringing a group of 10-15 people from the Irish credit union movement to join us for the trip to Ethiopia in November. Participants are required to fundraise a minimum of €4,500, and places are limited.
What’s involved?
· Travel to Addis Ababa on Thurs/Fri 19/20 Nov and return on Thurs/Fri 26/27 Nov – dates to be confirmed.
· Participate in the Great Ethiopian Run on Sun 22 Nov
· Meet with stakeholders and visit SACCOs, i.e. credit unions, to see at first hand the work that we support in-country

Once your application has been submitted, we will be in touch. If successful, the next stage will be to set up on the Enthuse platform, and we will be there to guide you through the entire process.
